About Us
WHO WE ARE
We are a network of volunteers from various congregations, agencies, and the community-at-large, trained to respond personally to the everyday needs of people who are homebound and their caregivers.
WHAT WE DO
Volunteers provide such services as:
- Transportation to non-emergency medical appointments in the local area -
thousands helped over the past ten years.
- Friendly visits - A visit with a homebound person can make a wonderful difference in his/her life knowing that someone cares enough to help.
- Reassuring Phone Calls are also very much appreciated.
- Assistance with paperwork
- Respite care - Once a week we are able to give care givers a 5 hour break. We provide a catered meal, fun, activities, a social hour, music, etc.

HOW TO GET OUR HELP
If you are in need of assistance in any of the areas above and live in one of the listed communities, please call us at 732-247-1655. We will ask you to provide a minimum amount of information like your address and phone number to get started. The next step is for one of our Coordinators to visit you to gather information such as age and health and assess more accurately what assistance we can provide. Following this visit, we would be able to provide medical transportation one round trip per week. All other programs have waiting periods based on when we have an available trained volunteer for a particular town and service. The Respite program can assist 24 families
and currently has no waiting list..
